The earliest known cultures that define the roots of India grew up along the Sindh river basin in western Punjab (northwest India), starting around 4,000 BC. This "Sindhi" culture eventually became corrupted to "Hind" (hence the occupants of India and observers of its religion called Hindus), then anglicized during the British occupation to "India". In fact, India locally is still referred to in literature as "Hind" or "Hindustan".
How/who/when named India as India, we had hindi %26amp; sanskrit languages here the how India word came in who named?
The name India is derived from Indus, which is derived from the Old Persian word Hindu, from Sanskrit Sindhu, the historic local appellation for the Indus River.
Reply:In olden days civilizations formed around and along the river as it was the main source for water, both for agriculture and other activities. One such civilization is Sindus Valley Civilization. People of this civilised society were called "Sinds", which got corrupted to Indus and the nation came to be known/called as "India".

Has this Arabic word "Namaz" derived from Sanskrit 'Nama Japa' that is "to pray by taking the name of God'?
Namaz is not from Arabic, it is an Urdu word which is influenced largely by the Persian and the Arabic besides Hindi. Hence, you are right that Namaz has come from 'Nama Japa'.
Has this Arabic word "Namaz" derived from Sanskrit 'Nama Japa' that is "to pray by taking the name of God'?
Firstly "Namaz" isnt an Arabic word, its a Paki/Indian word. They use it instead of saying "salaat" because I guess they cant say our words or something. its just like they can pronounce the Qu'ran properly and they say "zaaliin" instead of saying it the correct way, "dhaaliin". Hmm maybe its cuz their accent is really ugly lol.

Can some explain the meaning of "MAYA" (illusion - sanskrit) to me? as this is my name.?
The girl's name Maya \ma-ya\ is pronounced MYE-ah. It is of Spanish, Hindi and Russian origin. In Spanish, short form of Amalia. In Hindi, from Sanskrit, meaning "dream, illusion". In Russian, a form of Mary. A star constellation. See also Mai.
Maya has 3 variant forms: Maiya, Miah and Miya.
Maya: Hindu - Hinduism Dictionary on Maya
maya: (Sanskrit) "Consisting of; made of," as in manomaya, "made of mind."
From the verb root ma, "to measure, to limit, give form." The principle of appearance or manifestation of God's power or "mirific energy," "that which measures." The substance emanated from Siva through which the world of form is manifested. Hence all creation is also termed maya. It is the cosmic creative force, the principle of manifestation, ever in the process of creation, preservation and dissolution.
See: loka, mind (universal), mirific.
The Upanishads underscore maya's captivating nature, which blinds souls to the transcendent Truth. In Shankara's Vedantic interpretation, maya is taken as pure illusion or unreality. In Saivism it is one of the three bonds (pasha) that limit the soul and thereby facilitate its evolution. For Saivites and most other nondualists, it is understood not as illusion but as relative reality, in contrast to the unchanging Absolute Reality.
In the Saiva Siddhanta system, there are three main divisions of maya, the pure, the pure-impure and the impure realms. Pure or shuddha maya consists of the first five tattvas - Siva tattva, Shakti tattva, Sadasiva tattva, Ishvara tattva and Shuddhavidya tattva. The pure-impure realm consists of the next seven tattvas. The impure realm consists of the maya tattva and all of its evolutes - from the kala tattva to prithivi, the element earth. Thus, in relation to the physical universe, maya is the principle of ever-changing matter. In Vaishnavism, maya is one of the nine Shaktis of Vishnu.
See: loka, mind (universal), mirific, tattva, world.
(See also: Maya , Hinduism, Body Mind and Soul)
Can some explain the meaning of "MAYA" (illusion - sanskrit) to me? as this is my name.?
Maya can mean a number of things. As a Spanish name it is just a form of writing Amalia and in the Russian it is just another form of Mary. The name Maya from Hindi has far more history and culture attached to it then the European substitutions for other names.
In short the Hindi word Maya means a dream or an illusion. In Hindu tradition Maya is personified through a great goddess along with the other two concepts of “Prakruti” or matter and “Shakti” or activity. In Hindu philosophy man relies on all three to exist but it is Maya that lets him perceive the other two. In Buddhism Maya refers to the name of the woman who conceived Buddha Shakyamuni. In scriptures her name appears as either Mahamaya or Mayadevi meaning Great Maya and Goddess Maya respectively.

What is the Korean name for Buddhist Prayer beads? (Mala is Sanskrit or Fo zhu in Chinese)?
I'm just curious? I know is China there are several names Fo zhu, Shu zhu and nian zhu are the most common, translating as Buddha beads, counting beads or prayer beads respectively. I have seen many pictures of Korean monks with malas and several Americans who practice Korean Buddhism with them. However, the Americans call them Malas and I have yet to ask a Korean practitioner. So, I'm asking you. Does anyone know what they are called in Korean?
What is the Korean name for Buddhist Prayer beads? (Mala is Sanskrit or Fo zhu in Chinese)?
The Korean term for mala is "yum joo."
Actually, the exact term used depends on how many beads on the string:
- 108 beads is called "yum joo"
- 1000 beads (!) is simply called "yum"
I'm not sure about the smaller 27 bead mala, but it's probably a "yum-something."

Give me some good name to keep for jain art gallery it can be in sanskrit hindhi or english with its meaning?
some eye catching name which sound good on listing once
Give me some good name to keep for jain art gallery it can be in sanskrit hindhi or english with its meaning?
Ananda is a Sanskirt word that means "the joy without which the universe would come apart." It was also the name of the Buddha's best friend.
If your art is supposed to be beautiful and not edgy, maybe that would be good. You could combine it with words describing your location, like Ananda East if you are on the east side. Go for a word that has an ah or ee vowel sound.
